What happens in episode 1 of Boys Not Allowed?
Girls' night, boys not allowed, and Ava sends her boyfriend off to the bedroom while she and her best friend settle in for a film. The complication is that the best friend, Camilla, is also his stepsister, and the way he describes the last two years makes it clear she has been a problem the whole time.
He sneaks to the kitchen for water and Camilla catches him spying from the hall, dark hair, champagne satin slip, half amused. Twenty minutes into the film Ava is asleep on the sofa, as she always is, and Camilla comes to find him: he is allowed now. The two women share the couch in the last shots, one asleep, one making sure they stay quiet.
The episode 2 poster brings Camilla close to the camera in the satin slip at night. Ava is still asleep, for now.
