What happens in episode 1 of My First Night Shift?
The new night manager is the only man on shift in an elegant old hotel, and a redheaded colleague in a black suit tells him to relax: it is only his first night. Then the front desk phone rings with a room service order from 808, and nobody else seems surprised that he is the one sent upstairs.
The guest in 808 opens the door in an ivory satin slip with lace at the neckline, red lipstick, black hair pinned loose. He holds out a plate of strawberries; she says she did not call because she was hungry and loves a first-timer. The episode moves between the polished lobby, the brass room number and a suite with a city view, setting up a format where every door could be the next story.
The poster for episode 2 stays with the same guest by a tall window, slip strap falling. The order from room 808 is not finished, and the shift has hours left.
