What happens in episode 1 of Stepmom Summer Fling?
Gretchen brings her boyfriend Slade to the family beach house for the summer, and he meets her stepmom Holly, who jokes that she does not look old enough for the title. He stammers that he pictured someone very different. Her husband Hunter is still deciding whether he likes the boy.
At just under two minutes it is the longest first episode in the catalogue, and it uses the time for a boardwalk montage: carnival games, a hammer strength test, sunshine and leopard print. Gretchen introduces her best friend Brittany, more flirting follows, and then Holly gets him alone with a question: does she look familiar. She claims not to remember every man she has slept with, but makes it clear she is game for a repeat.
On the episode 2 poster Holly sits by a window in a white lace top and denim shorts. The summer has only just started.
